Help With RJM Clutch Pedal
Hello, I need help with adjusting my rjm clutch pedal. Haven't used it much. But it has a lot of play and wiggles a bit from left to right. Also using a wilwood clutch Master cylinde.
Ok I figured out how to fix the play but I’m wondering if I can screw the clevis fork back so I can lower the pedal and engagement point or will this affect the master cylinder negatively. Running a wilwood btw.
You should look at the details on the CJM site instructions. It’s adjustable without harming the MC. I won’t be able to get to mine to take a pic of the adjuster mentioned for a while or I would 🥲

And make sure to work it by hand a few times while you look up under the dash at the assembly, if you're hitting the bump stop on the pedal without bottoming out the master cylinder and it fully disengages the clutch then you're fine.
You'll be able to see that bump stop, if you can't push it further by hand but you're not on the bump stop then you hit the maximum travel of the master cylinder.
I recommend using your hand because you have a lot less strength than your foot, you aren't going to damage it by using your hand, especially at the contorted angle it takes to fit yourself into the footwell lol.
To check for proper clutch disengagement just park on a flat and level surface and push the clutch in with the engine running and see if it goes smoothly into gear and doesn't pull the car. If it's even slightly engaged you will struggle to push the shifter into gear.
CJM does have good adjustment instructions though, I would definitely follow them and set it up based on their direction before you go adjusting anything else.
