Driver seat discomfort?? The free 20 min solution...

Hey guys,

So, I had my coupe driver seat in the basement and I was doing a little tampering....I found a simple solution to removing the bracket and relocating the controls.

After removing the control box, you can simply slide it under the padding and under the seat to the front plastic part of the seat. You can really just stick the controls wherever you want, the wires are long enough. I put them directly under the front of the seat (fastened under the black plastic)..No cutting, or playing with wires at all. Just pull it through the bottom and fasten somewhere…simple.

I then sawed the control frame off and voila...A soft bolster with no metal or controls.. Now all that must be done is to have a small piece of black leather sewed onto where the controls where.. It will look like nothing was ever there.

1) Unscrew the black seat control box on the seat..(there are two screws under small indents in plastic. You cant miss them)

2) Remove controller from bracket and slide under foam padding into the bottom of the seat.. Place controls where best suited.

3) Bend or remove metal control bracket...

The rest is just aesthetics..

I'm unsure how relocating the controls has anything to do with seat comfort? I haven't really noticed the controls being a problem as I hardly even notice they are there. Maybe the '05 models are different?
