If you wanna see it just check the Sedans..
It is far more common for them, and looks acceptable just cos its a sedan..
By the way the wood is real wood and it has a very nice color to it..
Also the aluminum is real, just like the bmw's ..
I think they had painted plastic, that looked like aluminum before 06' models..
Can somebody confirm this?
And I test drove a 05' before getting an 06' and the interior is much much nicer on the 06's

These cars can look totally different...
A coworker of mine has a white sedan w/ wood trim, tan interior, no tint....it looks like a nice entry lux car. Mine is LP with black interior, alum trim and 20% tint....it looks much sportier.
Another coworker of ours did not even realize we had the same car.
I too feel the wood trim looks terrible w/ dark or stone interior. Looks OK w/ the tan though.

I think its the same rosewood used in the M so no its not fake plastic wood. It does look pretty good with wheat interior from what ive seen. It looks okay with black and looks off with stone
