A couple of years ago, I remember seeing a company advertising a process that converted the dash/console pieces to whatever you wanted, I can't find it right now, can't even remember the name, but it looked good, and utilized the OEM pieces of the console, seems like it was some sort of "poured" finish. LOL, hope I didn't just dream this, but I'm sure it existed.

Just paint yours silver, then they will be a crappy as the stock ones I have. If I find quality carbon fiber replacements, you can have mine.

^^ i agree. the parts dont even cover the full parts, the sides show and just look gross. i would suggest getting a carbon fiber overlay and cover everything to atleast look ok. here is an overlayt that is real carbon http://shop.senko.com/products.php?cat=16. not the ****ty carbon lookalike.

I have the double-din Conversion and I need to buy to Brushed aluminum piece for it. Any ideas? Most places only have to cut outs for the Bose system.

Back in 03 I was looking at a 350Z some guy traded in because he wanted a G35... oh the irony of it all. Anyway, the 350Z had some weird rubber coating across the dash, was clear with a silver backing... I had never seen anything like it before and have yet to see anything like it again. Anybody else seen anything like this?
