I've seen numerous stories showing instances as such. I seem to remember a Ford F150 with a "big mouse" problem but I can't find the story. I did find this one though and be happy this wasn't your case...

Be careful because mice are creatures of habit and may be back to look for a nesting place. It would be best to have them removed if possible.

I recall reading a thread in this forum about a year ago, where squirels nested in the vent box and died. The guy went on to say that there is an opening behind the battery, on the fire wall, where the air is drawn in. He installed some screen over the opening and from what I remember, he had a hard time getting rid of the smell.

you probably wont have to worry about this.. just change the filter every few thousand miles.. depending on where ur driving..
