I'm Eddie in Yokosuka. I drive a black G35 Sedan.

This picture is about a year old, but it is still pretty accurate.

I did and have chosen every place I've gone. The only exception is where school is. You obviously don't get to choose where your school is.

Indeed, I chose to come out here as well. And like psedog said, school isn't up to you but its all part of the training.

psedog - Nice G. Did you bring that from the states to Japan, or is that in the states still? I see its a LHD car. What all you do to it? I used to drive an 03 sport coupe, but I crashed it about a year ago before I joined. I plan on getting a G37 later on but for now I just bought an FD back in the states and trying to find one out here too.

Yep, I brought it in the US. I bought it new in late 06. I brought it over mid 08.
To legalize it here in Japan I had to get JDM tail lights (turn sigs have to be yellow). I had to make my bumper lights act as turn signals. I also had to separate the turn signal and parking lamp in the head lamps. For some odd reason it can't be a combo light... The license plates are different sizes, so I bought a bracket for the plate, but later I just bought some aluminum stock and made my own (it's much better than the one I bought). Recently I had to install a front license plate on my bumper and uglify the car For the last two years it has been in my windshield and the Japanese said that was good. Supposedly CNFJ has made their own policy so I had to install it.

If you mean, what have I done to the car period, then quite a bit.
Custom sound system consisting of a Mac Mini in the dash, touch screen 7" in the front, 7" screens in the head rests, custom made 12" sub boxes in the trunk (built to allow the removal of the spare as well as handle all our normal grocery shopping ), 1200w RMS amp to power them, and eDi components in the front doors. I also used a ckt breaker instead of a fuse for the 4 gauge cable going to the amp.
Suspension: front & rear strut tower bars, front & rear sway bars, H&R coilovers, Vossen vvs-078 20"x10.5 rear 20"x9.0 front, 245 fronts 275 rear tires. I want to try some 295's on the rear. SPC camber kit is on the way.
Power mods (short list, lol) Z tube and straight pipes that replaced my muffler
Light mods: Custom built bumper lights 30 yellow and 10 white leds, housing internal & ckt board painted black. Custom rear lights, led turn signal in the middle of the outer round brake circle, internals of all tail lights painted black to give the tinted illusion, while still transmitting 100% of the lights. Head light mod coming, fx projectors, angel eyes, painting housing black. I just need to get some clear signal covers and the ***** to open these bad boys (I don't have a US oven so I have to use a heat gun...). I also don't have a spare set like I did with the tail lights, lol.
Body mod, KurookieZ bumper.
Tint is 5% on the rear window and 2.5% on the rear passenger windows.
Some more interior stuff: I wrapped the front and rear pillars in black felt and painted the middle pillars black.

Nice. Sounds like you've done a ton of work to it, even just to get it legal over here. Good job on that. You didn't want to get anything from out here? What do you do over in Yoko?

Everything is more expensive here. Plus the Japanese didn't care for the V35 so not a lot of things are available here. I do want to get a few things, but the Yen rate really kills that want. (I did get curtains ). Right now I'm waiting on the realtor to tell us whether we can get a loan or not. That's been delaying my twin turbo venture.

I'm an IC1 on the USS Blue Ridge. How about you? Did you just get out here?

Yea your right about that. They didn't do much about the V35 out here and parts are expensive, even buying used. Mmm twin turbo, that's the way to do it.

Yea I just got out here and haven't been in long. I'm an AOAN with VFA-115 on the USS GW.

Nice. Nice choice on wheels. Hard to go wrong with GT-C's. I always wanted to get those or the TE's.

Yup. I picked them up for a steal and also sold them for a steal. I want to go more baller status on my new car tho. I'm going with Work Varianza T1S step lip, 19x9.5 19x10.5 on my FD.
