I had yellow fogs for my 05' headlights and yes they are dual filament.. meaning (now correct me if im wrong please) but meaning that since they are dual filament they can both function as the "regular" low beam function as well as the "high beam" function.. hence they're dual filament..

i dont know if this helped at all.. but also to let you know.. my fogs were nokya and they gave a nice brighter output that were actually "****" yellow.. as opposed to a lot of PIAA users' yellow fogs. and they're a lot cheaper too. the reason i got the nokya's is because they had a more true yellow look to them for a way more reasonable price.

sooooooooooooo i dont know if this helped at all.. but i really dont know about those yellow nipple things? why not just get yellow h4's?

Yeah, your right. The H4 bulbs are ALL dual filament types. The ones I just ordered have a clear high and a yellow fog.

Not PIAA's.....just yellow caps on stock bulbs.

My fogs are just caps from the Bluhm website.

They came out very good, I think better than some yellow bulbs out there.

Plus, I dont have to worry about blowing a bulb out because of wattage....

I ordered these and attempted to install them but failed. Both of them shattered. I was very careful with them but it didn't matter.

I was not very impressed with they way they "clip" to the lights. It seems like they would come loose.

Can you give a little description of how you installed them on the bulbs?

Thanks!!

Do you have pics of you car from a distance head-on? I'd like to see how the caps appear from a distance.

Member "Moog" installed these caps a while back. He has a picture of his on this thread:

Here is the pic:

It looks really nice. I just wish that I could have made the caps work.
