Led, Bulb Question, already did a search

After reading through a lot of posts, it's still hard to figure out whats the best type of bulb for the clearance strip and clear corners. My main questions are?

Should I go with LEDs on the clear corners, and bulbs in the clearance strip (I heard that the housing is too hot for the LED)

If I go with an LED, what type of LED should I put in each (inverted, 6, 4, etc?)

What light has worked best for most ppl and hasn't fallen from the clearance strip into the housing?

Thanks.

You wont get a "right" answer, just peoples opinion. I played with different bulb types :LED/filament, different colors, but in the end I am running amber filament bulbs in my clearcorners and the hyperwhite 198 filament buln in my city light ( clearance strip for you ). I couldnt find any good bulbs that gave a pure white light for the clear corners, and I am not for the blue ricer look. Lot of people run PIAA hyperwhites, you could start with those. But like I said its all personal preference, as long as you are happy with the look.
