Super Bright LEDs

Has anyone ordered from superbrightleds.com? their prices seem to be the only thing that is really good. Their website is pretty awful & cant say much for their customer service (I've sent multiple emails, and they got back on one). I've read a couple other posts about users unsatisfied with the quality. If you've ordered from these guys- post a reply & include what you ordered (model # / $) & your comments. The prices are almost worth giving it a shot in the dark. almost. thanks.

I got all my bulbs from optauto.com. Quick and accurate, with decent prices.

Re: Super Bright LEDs

howz the brightness? it would be awesome if you could post some pics.

I'm gonna be replacing every light in my car with hyperwhite LEDs. If I were to go with PIAA or some other brand, it would cost 5x as much, with would be round $200 more.

Re: Super Bright LEDs

This is with just my parking lights on. All outdoor and garage lights were off. I think I had a total of 96 LEDs in this picture. I blew about half of them within an hour because I didn't know enough about resistors and series and all that good stuff back then. The problem with replacing every light in your car with LEDs is that you would need to create custom housing for all the bulbs. You can look for direct plug-in LED cluster bulbs, but those will never be bright enough. That is the current problem I am facing now. I would like the turn signal bulb to be as bright as in this pic, but I don't know how to make a housing for those bulbs to be stable. The only thing I can do is the side marker at this point. This weekend I will be working on a custom stable permanent solution to have individual LEDs in there.

Re: Super Bright LEDs

thanks for the pic. if you have any more, dont hesitate to post! Yea, for the clearance / corner / parking / license plate / ignition key ring / courtesy door lights - i dont really want these to be bright, just to give a nice white/purplish glow. For the interior, I want the map / glove box / trunk / reverse lights all to be super bright white -- those lights have purpose (not just to look cool ;.}).

Re: Super Bright LEDs

what is the exact model # of the bulbs that fit in each space?? I read in another post that #4211 wont fit-- seems logical since the measurements of the actual socket is 30x10mm (dome) & 28x8mm (courtesy). For the wedge bulbs- did you get the T13 (6 LED) or the WLED (4 LED) & what color? Need more input. ;.}
