Are you using the OEM fog bulb or did you change that as well?

The installation was a pain in the neck (and maybe my waist my back and my arms) because this was the first time I ever touched my car by dissembling these many parts. I followed the DIY installation guide found on one of the threads in this forum. DIY installtion was very clear except I sort of got lost when I needed to "unclip" the harness.

For some reason, the headlight harness wire was so short that I could barely pull out the headlight (for both sides). I know from my accord I had to push a clip in order to unplug the harness, but this time was more difficult for me to do on my G because of limited space and poor visibility to the actual clip. For those of you who want to convert to 06 headlights, I have attached pictures of the "clip". you need adequate amount of force pushing down the clip part and also pulling out the plug. If it is too hard to push by hand, you may use flat-head screw driver to push against the clip.

The light output is much better than 03-05 reflexive housing. In one of my pictures you can clearly see the difference between 04(right) and 06(left). I used Phillips Utinon 6000K bulbs which I got on ebay and I like both the color and light output. I have had Phillips 6000K and they turn more white-yellow from white-blue after several months of use. As for brightness, it is a bit darker than my gf's bimmer, but I think once the color turns whiter/yellowish, the brightness may increase a bit (as experienced in my accord).

For anyone who are planning to install 06 lights, make sure you wear gloves and have the right tools. I got a few scratches on my hands when I tried to unscrew the knots inside the fender *ouch*!! Also, make sure you have a good extension for your 10mm screw driver (I have seen some adjustable/bendable extension at Lowe's but the guy said that extension doesn't come with 10mm socket!!!) At last but not least, try to work at day time or prepare some portable lamps. If you are first timer like me, don't rush yourself; you can always split the installation into two days so you don't get too exhausted (now I got sore back and legs)

Just sharing my joyness with you all!
I got 06 Coupe but I don't think
my light is that..white..did you use different bulb?
