CCFL in clearance strip install question

I just ordered a coupe CCFL's to do the clearance strip mod but after reading the DIY I have one big question.

After separating the lens from the housing I have no idea how to reseal them so no moisture gets into my headlamps.

You just reheat the black silicon on there and press them hard together. I havent had any moisture with mine and ive taken them apart twice.
