I like to change my fog and park lights, but.

from what I read here on the forum I have to take off the front bumper/fascia as if I was taking out the headlights themselves?
I'd like to have whiter lights that match the HIDS a bit better, but taking off that bumper looks like a real 'pita'.
Let me know if I am incorrect.
thanks,
Tinsby

I tried to take my lights out without taking off the front bumper, but i felt like i was bending it too much. So i decided to remove the whole front bumper, Theres the 3 tabs on each wheel well, 2 screws on the 1/4 panel. Then just like 6 screws under the bumper. It is not as hard as you would think it would be.

yes you can, its very doable. The only somewhat hard part you'll have to worry about is the 2 metal pieces on each side that houses the corner lights on the bumper. They are held by rivets and will need to be drilled out and then put onto the new bumper with the rivet gun. However, when i put my nismo kit on, I didn't use a rivet gun, instead I went to the local home depot and bought a pack of nut and bolts for 98 cents and they hold the metal pieces on there just fine. Your new bumper might already include that if a member is selling their used bumper to you. If you ask me, I'd rather do it myself (20 min max) than spend $50+ just having the bodyshop install it and they may not do it the way you'd like them to. Good luck and if you have any questions regarding the install when you get the bumper, PM me and I'll be glad to help.
