Re: NEED HELP INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS!!!!

I feel for ya. I've got an original G35 without the HIDs also.
Had to take mine to the dealer because my hi/fogs melted
the housing. The dealer ordered me new headlamps.
I wonder if they even make the original Halogen ones
anymore. My dream is: they can't replace the Halogens,
so they put in HIDs instead. HaHa LOL

Re: NEED HELP INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS!!!!

I don't understand why you said you got the fog and highbeam all 4, because the foglight and highbeam are in same bulb an H4, so you would need just 2. The lowbeam are H1 type, so I guess what your're trying to say is that you got the 2 H1 lowbeam and 2 H4 fog/high.
I did that to my car but those Extreme White with blue coat makes your headlight looks blue when you have your lights off during the day and I hate that for a Luxury Sport Car, at the end I bought a H1 HID converion kit from Jose Solano from Miami his email is solano1082@aol.com if you want to contact him.
If you think the super whites will match and HID they don't when installed the HID in one side and compare with the Xtreme Whites the difference was HUGE in color, cosmetic and in your vision. I installed the H1 HID Kit and removed the H4 and putted back the OEM bulbs as I said before dont like the blue reflection when they were off during the day.
This is just a suggestion maybe you will like your Super Whites. Good Luck

Re: NEED HELP INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS!!!!

gottem in with no trouble at all..yea i realized afterwards i bought 2 extra bulbs but hey, it was only 8 more bucks. wouldnt mind putting on those HIDs but my rides leased and im not planning on buying it at the end (it got wrecked after my second month of having it) so its kind of like throwing away money. it still looks really nice though. oh well. what can ya do? only thing running through my mind is i hope the wiring harnesses dont burn out. the bulbs are 100/80 watts and i think thats more than the manual says....somebody help me out here?...pics coming soon..just gotta wash my little fatty girl

Re: NEED HELP INSTALLING HEADLIGHTS!!!!

I had the Extreme Whites in both lowbeam(H1), and fog/highbeam(H4), I didn't have any problem with the wiring harnesses. After I replaced the H1 with the HID Conversion kit I changed the H4 to my wife SUV never have wiring burn out problem, in your case you have the stock H1 bulb I just recommend if you will go on a long trip with your lights on don't turn of your fog light for extensive period.
