I have on 03 coupe and it was in a accident a while ago and we had everything repaired. Now im questioning rather or not my headlights work like they are supposed to. At night when they turn on the xeon light turns on as well as the light under neither. The yellow light thats on the bottom is not bright, but it is still on.

The reason im asking this is the past 5 Gs i have seen at night have been driving and the only light to be on is the xeon light, the bottom non-xeon wasnt on at all.

Anyone know if mine is supposed to have the top xeon and the non xeon light on at night, or if just the top xeon light is supposed to be on?

 

if you have an 06 then youre probably talking about the 194/168 city light

and yes it is suppose to turn on..i changed mine to LED to match..

a lot of people take this bulb out too..

 

I have an 03 as well. Those lights you are talking about are not Xenon they are hallogen. If you look at where you turn your lights on there is an area to the right of it that controls those lower lights (fog lamps). Turn that off and you will never see them again.

im pretty sure that for the 03s your turn signal/parking light, headlight, sidemarkers, and clearance strip are suppose to be on only

if im not mistaken, isnt that the H4 high beam bulb you are referring to?\

are you sure your high beam isnt flicked to the on position? ive done that before

 

you have your fog lights on....turn it to the off position....
