Help finding CCFL

Guys,

Ive been looking for the CCFL as described in the DIY section for the clearance strip retrofit. Aparently there was a GB back before I was a member. I am wondering if someone could let me know where I could buy these CCFL strips.

Thanks

do not buy from svc.com!! , i bought some ccfl from them awhile back from them. everything went smooth, got it shipped in time. 2 weeks later my atm card got charge at sears in san jose cali where svc.com is located. me and my bank assume someone that works in svc(silicone valley computech) had use my atm card, went to sears and bought some wheels n a few other things. bill came up to close to 900 bucks! bank called me and ask if i had use it just a few mins ago. i told them im in los angeles not san jose, why would i go all the way up there to buy some tires. luckily the bank believe me and took about 3 months to give my money back.
NOTE: anyone reading this DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THERE ARE CROOKED F**KERS WORKING THERE. i know its them because the sears they went to is close by to svc.com. just a headup to anyone even thinkin of buying from them.

Hey 1Fast,
I am the author of the DIY, 12" is the best choice but it will be a very tight fit. My advice to you is to make sure you really sand down the bottom part of the lens cover so it is super smooth. This will let the light shine through a lot better. Let me know if you need additional help.

I'd be more than happy to help (Supply pizza/beer) but I will never work for $$. There is just too much liability that I am not willing to take.

i wanted to ask, what color CCFL would be ideal for this project? Should I buy 2 white CCFL? Reason I ask is because Peter's car looks kinda bluish. Maybe that's just the photo or something. Any thoughts?

I did this (along with a retrofit) and I havent had any problems from police for either the lights or the CCFLs. I just used the white CCFLs and it looks white but when its photographed it causes it to look blueish.
