Since I got 06 projector....Im not using my old 05 HID..
I want to put my old 05 HID to 06 Fog...
Is anyone done it????

uhhm..your 06 fogs are not HIDs. unless you buy an HID conversion kit this will not work........

its a different size bulb dude..06 fogs use h1 and your 05 hid is d2r

unless you wanna do a retrofit but then youd have to find/buy ballasts projector etc or you can just buy an hid conversion kit....

 

um...I was taking about retrofit....I bought 4700k h1..but I didn't like it with 6000k on my projector...
I want to try 6000k fog so I can match..
I have ballasts and bulbs from 05...My question was..Can I use my old 05 ballasts and bulbs for retrofit instead of buying HID kit.
If so...HOw to make it stay with for light reflector...

Yes you can use your ballast. but you will have problems with the connectors for the bulbs. You can get on the hidplanet forum and ask question. I did a retro on my son's 86 300ZX turbo and put 350Z hid projectors in place of his old Halogen headlights. I did a complete retro on his Z for right around $300. I had to build my own light harness with relays.
