I have the '03-'05 old reflector style lights and I was wondering if I took off the shroud that covers the xenon lightbulb (which is used to reflect light onto the reflectors) and replaced the bulb with a 6000k d2s, would that work well? Thanks guys.

 

Wouldn't work well at all, without the shroud, you'll have major glare issues and **** everyone else off. It will also ruin your already poor beam pattern by allowing more of your light to escape from the front of the light without being focused. Overall, a pretty bad idea. DON'T try it
