Where can I get the blacked out headlights?
I've seen threads on how to do it myself, but i don't feel like i am saavy enough to do it. just looking for a shop or company that can paint the housings the color of my car.
if youre in socal then you can give them to 'caskyline' and he will do it for you.
or you can spend a grip on those clearcorner.com versions (i wouldnt suggest it though..)
or bats overlays are a great alternative. great guy to work with too!

Not looking at tinting either. i want to have the headlight housings painted black to match the car. i saw it on ducatiguys g35 coupe last week and it looked totally sick!!!!
Actually... he "had" the overlays and got rid of them. He did the whole headlight retrofit thing that was popular on these forums for awhile. It's a PITA...
Remove headlight casing, separate part where you want to black out, paint, and re-assemble (without fogging issues). There are people around that can do it for ya if you don't want to go the route of taking apart your headlight assembly... It takes a good deal of time if you want to do it right. Having 2 people helps too.

When I did it,it took:
30 mins to disassemble the front end to remove the headlights
Preheat oven
10-15 mins to remove the bulbs/harness etc from headlights while oven is preheating
10 min bake per headlight
5-10 mins to pry apart the headlight
30 mins to prep headlights(sand, prep, etc)
1 hour to paint
3-4 hours watch tv or let sit overnight to cure
15 mins reassemble
10 mins each rebake
5 mins each reseal
15 mins reinstall bulbs
30-45 mins reassembe front end
So at most it took 3-4 hours of actual work, and 3-4 hours or overnight to let everything dry.
