H4 Fog Light Bulbs!
H4 Fog Light Bulbs!
So, I ordered some crappy foglights from ebay for like $25 and They don't look bad at all from far but don't look good at all up close. I got them to match my 12k hid bulbs but they are 8k's and still don't really look that blue. Do any of you guys have matching blue HID bulbs and Fogs?
the higher in temp the less light output, so its impossible for them to be brighter. i went from 4300k to 5800k and the difference in light output was incredible, cant even imagine what 1200k would be like
6000k is the highest you can go before you start loosing light output. Just because you have 8k,10k,12k. Check out sentence number 2.

You can always do a plug and play H4 Hid conversion on your fogs with a casper shield. The only drawback with the conversion is loosing your high beams. You can find H4 HID conversion with HIDs for lows and Halogen for high. But the dual bulb conversions cost more.
You will loose output lumens after you go above 4300k bulbs. Some of us go to 6000K Philips or 6600K Piaa and don't loose much but anything over that is a major loss. I have done dozens of comparisons with other G's and it's dramatic, especially in rain or fog. That's why I got the Philips bulbs and added Piaa 2500K fog bulbs.
