So how much do the capsules cut down on the lumens? For example, how do your high beams look with the capsules? Not as bright, right?

If you are doing a projector retrofit anyways, you may want to consider picking up a set of lexus IS300 foglight housings, they would give your foglight area the projector look as well, and also project yellow light. I think it would look badass since you are doing a retrofit anyways

Yeah, but I am doing TSX's not Bi-Xenons, so I would lose my high beams, and I can't have that. I'm also putting in AAC Demon Eyes...I'm excited.

Go to my cardomain, but checkout my old page for my previous car, a Maxima. I had the PIAA crystal ions. Nice bulbs, but the Luminics have more of the deep yellow I was going for

Luminics "JDM Yellow" 2500K

Here are the Luminics...not the best pics...but the color is fairly accurate.

Sorry for the hazing (haven't polished the lens in a while) and lack of brightness (they're much brighter...look how dim the HID is for reference). So think this color, but much brighter!

OK, that's a good pic. I am curious...when you look at the actual luminics bulb, is it yellow, or is it semi-clear with a yellow-purplish hue? I am pretty sure that the PIAA's look like the latter description. I know that my Philips Yellowstars do.

Its clear yellow.

BTW - I noticed that in the daytime, with the lights off, you can see the yellow reflected onto the reflector housing...its not hugely noticeable...but you can see it.

Interesting. Because I'm pretty sure the PIAA's use that funky yellowish purple coating, and so do mine. But you are saying these are just straight yellow.
