Question LED clear corner plus blinker mod

Has anybody done a LED clear corner mod like the DIY that is on this page along with the blinker mod found at http://www.6mt.net/mod-g35-sidemarker.php ? I plan to do this mod and just wanted to see how it worked out for others. At first, I looked at how the blinking mod was done and didn't think it would work because you would be forcing power back up the parking light wire, then I realized a light bulb is a very low resistance, therefore most of the power SHOULD go through the bulb, not back up the other way. Only possible annoyance with this is the turn signal light might slightly illuminate when the side marker LED circuit is active. So, if anyone has any experience with both these mods together or if you think something I said above is wrong, post away!

Nobody has any ideas on this? I guess I'll have to go with the one row of LED's as parking, 1 as blinking. After much investigation and trying out different schematics, I'm pretty sure it won't work unless you have some advanced switching. Any pictures of your LED clear corner mods will also be welcome.

The one row for the parking lights, and another row for the turn signal is how mine are done from clearcorners.com. It does allow you to have the LEDs for the parking lights in white and the turn signal in amber which is highly effective and functional.

I think that route is a smart way to go about it. Good luck!

OK, looks like individual rows is the way to go. I am actually gonna do all amber though, I don't want to even have to worry at all about legalities of color and such. I ordered 40 LED's from digikey last night, amber, and are meant for use in automotive lighting. They have a high forward current, wide viewing angle, and decent output, so I'm hoping for the best!

The mod is finally underway! After a small battle with FedEx to actually ge the clear corners, they are here. The housing has been separated, the LED's are here, and the circuit has been designed and tested. I may have to change resistor values because what I have now is probably TOO bright. 10 LED's for parking and 10 for turn puts out a LOT of light with these LED's. Next step is how to cut out the housing for the circuit. Has anyone done this except the guy in the DIY? I'm wondering how to mount the original bulb housing so I can still use it.
