Just like the title says, anyone ever popped a bulb in their headlight perferbly 06 headlights? I am kinda skeptical of getting aftermarket ones b/c I had H4 in a civic and when it blew, it fogged up the whole headlamp. I had to take the whole thing out and clean it and it was a biatch.

 

i could be wrong...but i've personally never heard of HID bulb popping inside the housing. a normal non-HID bulb would pop because it got really hot. HID bulbs don't get as hot, so they'll rarely, if never, pop.

 

actually, idk why but mine popped and they were smoking, its funny they still worked but i think something will catch fire.

 

Not talking about the HID bulb but non hid bulbs H1/H4 etc.

 

well if those do pop, then it'll be a pain to clean out. same with almost every headlight actually.

 

But if an aftermarket bulb can pop; wont a stock bulb pop too?

Because I have never heard of any G owners having their stock or aftermarket bulbs popped (assuming you go for quality brands like phillips for HID or PIAA for aftermarket H4)
