Rear License Plate Bulbs

All,

What's the bulb type for the rear plates? Is it 194 bulb? I want to get the LED upgrade for the OEM bulbs.

Thanks!

Why would you want your license plate to have more light......is it.....so cops can read your plates better......

194/168

they will both work

and it's not like cops wont be able to see your plates anyway

they're called headlights...they already light up your plates when a cop is behind you

i have leds and its harder to see my plates with these than with the stock peanut bulbs...i guarantee you

if i remember/have time tonight ill post pics

some leds project a spotlight effect and thus dont light up the entire plate...but it still looks nice cause of the color

ahero is completely right with the light...i just switched my plate light out the other day and the new lights are half as bright. i just like the leds better since the color matches my sidemarkers and clearence strips.

I am thinking of doing the same...upgrading the rear license plate lights to LEDs...
Can anyone share some pics at night of how this would look? Thanks in advance.
