too lazy to search, so can anyone confirm that d2c bulbs can replace both d2s and d2r bulbs? i remember reading this somwhere and i've had 3 people PM with this question. i told them d2c will work for both lol and i'm pretty sure i'm right. i just wanna make sure...

 

its just the notch, but D2R has the ceramic coating for glare where D2S doesn't so beats me what the purpose is for a D2C

 

yeh, i know that. but i wonder if d2c bulbs have that ceramic coating. i'm guessing not. i remember someone on the forum posted pics of his d2c bulbs. looked good.

 

I think they don't have the coating and will fit either.

 

Found a pic on an ebay auction with the package and they do not have the coating.

So, although it'll fit the same socket as D2S and D2R bulbs, I think you'd only want to use it as a substitute for D2S then, right?

 

I just dont see any use in it, except save you time from cutting the notch yourself.
