You'll lose the parking/clearance light strip with the 06 headlight assembly though.

No, 06 uses differnt bulbs:

Fogs - H1
City Lights - 168 or 194 wedge bulbs
Headlights - D2S
Turn Signals - 7440

nope. headlights are d2s instead of d2r, fogs are h1 instead of h4, turn signals are (uuh, i forgot. but theyre not dual filament anymore. it's either 7440 or 7443 or something, lol.).

Is there any way not to loose it, by re-wiring it. I'm doing this NOW, anybody know what wire to tap into?

Thanks

^^^ The clearance strip doesn't exist on the 06+. They are just not there. Nothing to re-wire although I have seen some people cut the housing and install them.

there is no clearance strip there to rewire it to. You'd have to dremel out the clearance strip spot, and retrofit the 03-05 clearance strips in. IvoryGT has done it and can helpt you out with it if you are really interested.

There nothing to rewire to. There is no clearance strip with the '06 projectors, just an ornamental one. Some guys have spent $ putting clearance strips on the lights however. IvoryGT, the headlight wizard, has.
