HID colors?
yea, i think he's referring to 4300k, 5000k, 6000k, 8000k colors. i tried to google it but didn't come up with anything. they have a bunch of examples on ebay if you look for stores that sell HIDs

HID Color/Brightness..........
I believe what he's trying to convey is that above 6000K it isn't as bright.
Which means the 8000K doesn't have the brightness or the range that the
6000K does. Saw a tricked out WRX the other night with yellow headlights.
From the way they looked he must have been driving blind with lights that
dull! I can't think of a better way to get busted and with good reason.

ftl = for the lose
the higher the color temp, the less light output
either leave the factory in there or go 6000
6000= hint of blue
8000= more bluish than white
10000= purple ish
but u get less visibility with the higher ones, 6k is recommended if u want the bluish light and still keep decent visibility

This was posted on hidforum. I believe that the second to bottom is 4100K. Note the difference in intensity between the different Kelvin temps.
