I'm not a fan of the stock halogen yellow fog lamps, and I dont think I will be going for the JDM Yellow look either.

Has anyone had luck changing the fog to a HID-look bulb, one of the PIAA bulbs perhaps (4700k, 5000k, 6000k, 7500k) or is this a bunch of crap.
Which would you go with if you wanted it to look like HID color, i'd rather have it match with look-alikes than the way it is now.

Considering Sylvania Silverstars, or PIAA's if i replace my halogens

Considering 6000k HID 9003 Kit but it just seems impractical.

i replaced my 05 with 4700k hid bulbs
It was actually a HID kit, u can't just replace the halogen bulbs with an hid one, gota add in some kind of adapter or watever to prevent something bad. lol all i remember was halogen to HID needs a kit.
the 4700k and 5000k is the best match up u can get to the HID main driving lights.
6000k and higher will give ur botom lights a bluer tint then the stock HID driving lights.

 

I would try the Piaa super plasma GT-X H4 bulbs.

 

ive used these exact bulbs before. they were purple-ish.

if that's what you want, then definately those bulbs.

i liked the xtreme forces better tho. jmho.

 

gtx are way too purple, piaa xtreme force 4700k from piaa japan are the best, give off a blue-white, even when the bulb is off
