G35 Headlight Recall

I got a recall notice for my 06 coupe today (it looks like campaign 06V394000) to replace my headlights.

In previous postings I've seen ther seems to be a difference of opinion as to whether the new or old headlights are better. Does anyone know specifically what the difference is?
Are the new ones brighter?, or
are the new ones dimmer?, or
is just an adjuster changed?

Thanks

Supposedly they are brighter, but people say they are just the same.

This was the one bright spot of my day...finding this recall. I gave a guardrail a love tap after losing control in a rainstorm to avoid a jack knifing semi...craked the chrome grill and put a rip in the bumper....along with cracking the inside of the headlight.....boom free replacement.
