HID's go out after 10 seconds

I have 12,000k headlights. I've had them for about a month now. This weekend.
The passenger side headlights started going out after 10 seconds of coming on. I know the bulb isn't bad because if i cut the lights off and on again, they come back on then go out after 10 seconds. The driver's side is completely fine. Has this ever happened to anybody else before?

Can anybody help me out?

What year model do you have? Alot of the 06 headlights are on recall cause of this problem.. i kenw someone with 8k HIDS that worked for a couple weeks, but went completely out later.. got them replaced and still didnt work..

if not, then could be your bulb.

I had this problem on my 06 too. passenger side too. Could be the bulb, i'm not sure though. I had 6000k MTEC's. Took them out and have my car at the dealer for the recall and new tranny right now. I'll see if it does it again with the MTECs when I get my car back. At first i thought it was the ballasts, but now i'm beginning to think its the bulbs.
