06 light recall
06 light recall
Just had my HID recall done to my car. Today was the first day I saw it in action in my underground parking garage. The cut off horizon level looked very strange to me. Before the beams (both side) where perfectly flat and at the same level. Now the driver side is shooting to the moon and the passenger side is lower. The result was to me was actually worse for the driver. Anyone have this recall done and notice the same thing. I just want to know if this is normal or did the tech F*ck up and adjusted my beams incorrectly. Thanks!
my tech was really pushing me to have this recall done. i have eyelids on my lights, and the beam looks real good to me. in addition, i didnt want the techs to mess with it and run the risk of a bad job. nevertheless, they should be able to adjust it so it's even like stock

lol...shooting to the moon. hahaha. Well you can always adjust the level of the light yourself. There is a little screw on the back of the housing (8 mm) that you can turn and adjust the level of the light.
does anyone really know why they are doing this silly recall?? is it just for the "uneven" cutoff and high cutoff (blinding oncoming traffic)? i've never had a problem before. i suggest infiniti gets their act together and due a recall on the 2005+ 6MT engines with severe oil consumption!! not that's a recall we've all been waiting for.
