Ah yes, beautiful downtown Burbank...........!

I don't know what kind of customer base this company has but the prices
seem way outa whack......most of us are capable making most of the mods
they list for pennies on the dollar (theirs)! Thanks for the post but I'd rather
spend my $ on a bodykit or FI.

haha calm down, calm down...

For those who posted kind words, thanks - we appreciate the support. This project has been near 2 years of work. A quick glimpse at the above pic will show a photo that you'de never be able to take with the stock lamps. Place your Coupe at the same angle and snap the taillamps, they'll look like they're off. What you see are several hundreds of wide-angle LEDs, per lamp. The rings are the parking lamps, the centers light up with the brakes. The both ring arrays operate as brake and/or signal. Fun stuff...

For those that like the spaced apart OEM LED look, thats fine - stay stock. This taillamp stays true to all the Skyline models, starting with the classic `73 C110 Skyline, which we just happen to have sitting up on our office wall as a display piece. Either way, we feel that these lights pay heritage to the original Skyline lamps. Afterall, we've worked on every model (C110, R32, R34, etc) and will continue to do so.

In response to those that think this type of work is a simple, backyard, home-brew conversion - best of luck to you. We've been in business for near 10 years now and gaurantee a high attention to detail with each of our conversions. If you dont care about any of the above and just want vinyl overlays or cheap price, you can easily shop elsewhere for that. We operate out of a retail office and are in business to gaurantee our customers a quality product. Curious? Call and set an appointment. Customers have the luxury of seeing products in person, discussing further customization, etc.

Again, thanks to those who have supported us. Actually, we've had several advance orders that we're still working diligently to fulfill for these taillamps - so hang tight. Once we get the final product photo shoot done, pictures and pricing will be posted online.

Sorry to say Mike but it looks like the only positive remarks about those tail lights only came from the one who started this thread who is an existing customer of yours.

In any case, I can appreciate your dedication to maintaining the purity of the Skyline design and appearance. However, even though, overall, the Skyline is a car that remains highly desired there are certain aspects of the car that I am sure many people would still like to modify.

Good luck with your new line of tail lights.

I think part of why people are so down on these is that the OE taillights are unique compared to other vehicles. There's nothing wrong with that. I like the stock tails, but like most other people, I wanted something unique on my car. Like I said before, its all personal preference.

For anybody saying, that it looks like normal taillights now, I'd venture its only because you haven't seen them in person. Pictures never do lighting mods justice. Its really hard to capture the intensity and wide angle of dispersion of the LEDs with a camera. Plus you're missing the instant on/off of the LEDs and the overall action of them.

Its just one of those kinds of things that you need to see to really appreciate. When I had my headlights done, some of my club guys were unimpressed by the photos they saw first, but in person everybody really liked them. I think it'll be the same way with these. Once I get my set, I'll be doing a shoot with them and I'll get a video as well so people can see how they operate. Either I'll change some of your opinions, or everybody can jump on the pile again.

100's of high intensity LEDs... not to **** on your business, but all your doing is stuffing these lamps with rolls of premade led strips.... Sure those strips could become expensive, but IMHO they're ineffective and unattractive.. and most importantly too expensive.

Wow, what is with all the hate? I bet most of you have never tried to create custom LED arrays or perform headlight mods. Let me tell you something it is NOT an easy process. My projector retrofit took me over a month to complete and it is nowhere near the quality of the stuff that comes out of clearcorners.com I think what they charge is fair considering Mike is running a business that has overhead. You also have to remember that he is selling a very small amount of product.

Also, photographing LED lighting is rather tricky you need the right photographer + exposure settings to get an accurate picture. Mike, if you have any clients in the NYC metro area who would like to have their products photographed let me know.

Hey Pete, I might take you up on that in a couple months once everything is on. I'll let you know.

I'm sure that the end product took a lot of time, effort, and of course money. I don't think that anyone here is questioning the quality of the workmanship or the materials that went into it. I just think that people simply do not like the look that is being displayed on this thread as well as the website. It's very possible that the image taken of the tail lights do not truly reflect what it looks like in person. But for purposes intended, these images are all that we have to rely on.

Personally, I think that for the aesthetics you are buying, it is WAY too expensive.
