Clear corners with 4 bar overlays (pics)

Got some Nismo clear corners and added smoked 4 bar overlays to spice them up. I know a few other members have these, just want to give credit where's it due. Awesome, cheap mod. I think it changes the whole appearance of the car, adds an exotic Italian look.

I probably can't say exactly where I got them, it's a sensitive issue, but they're easy to find on ebay, search for "g35 4 bar".

P.S. I also have Philips Ultinons (6000K) and PIAA LEDs installed (pic1). The only thing I really like about the PIAAs is that they create a blue ring in the headlight housing when you're close to the car.

Very unique, I must say. Looks real classy on your color car.

Thanks, I think they do work really well with DG. The pics were taken with a cell phone camera, so they aren't great, but in typical outdoor lighting, the overlays have more of a translucent look, they look more gray than black.

I've seen them on ebay before, but they aren't currently listed for some reason. I'll try to contact the manufacturer.

indeed i have them. mine are translucent, not too dark. maybe 35% tint equivalent. i got mine made by another member here, and i had to custom-cut them to fit on a sedan (it was a super-large coupe model), but he's no longer around.

It was kind of a pain, easy to make a mistake, just have to do it really slowly. You have to use a cloth or paper towel to put (slightly soapy) water on the clear corners, then you have to line up the overlay, stick it on, then use a hairdryer to heat the edges so you can bend them smoothly around the curved parts of the sidemarker. I just used my fingers to smooth out a few air bubbles after that. The initial lineup/stick-on and bending the edges are the hardest parts.

EDIT: Just spoke to the manufacturer, the overlays for the sedan are available! Search on ebay for "G35 sedan 4 bar".
