'06 Headlights

I just got the '06 headlights and I have a few questions......1. Is the signal light (clear orange portion) suppose to be on when your headlights are on? I know on my old lights ('05), the light stayed on, but now, the little circle portion is off and only comes on when I signal. 2. The fog lights (light under the headlight).....is it suppose to be hyper white or is it just an off white (like other stock car headlights)? I thought with the new '06 headlights, the foglights were suppose to be almost similar in color to the headlights and not the off white like my old '05 headlights Sorry for all the confusion and thanks in advance................

The fogs are just H1 halogens. We pick-up a set of 06 headlights also for our 04. But we are going to do some mods before we put them on.
1.Paint all the chrome black.
2.Put CCFL strip where clearance strip use to be on old light
3.Another set of projectors where the fogs sit. It will work like a fog but when you switch to high beams, it will stay on and the cutoff shield will flip down like the top projector. Which will give us 4 high beam HIDS.

The amber turn signal lights do not come on when you turn on the lights in the 06 and the fog lights do not match the HID in color. You'll have to replace them with aftermarkets if you want to make them match.

yup, you've inspired me to do this...

got a couple questions though pertaining switching over, the plug and play part, i know you plug it in a it should work,
but do the fogs on the 06 lights stay on when the high beams are turned on, on a 04, or are there going to modifications im going to have to make to the harness

btw daddygonz is my dad

the fogs turn off when the high's are activated, so you either have to install kptech's foglight module, or relay the high switch to reactivate the ballast for the fogs when they turn on

I think a set of Luminic's JDM Yellow fogs would go well as it will be near impossible to get a perfect match for the factory HID's without actually retrofitting HID's in the fog location.
