which bulb is it?

which bulb type is the vertical strip on the front head unit?

is it worth replacing to make it look "better"..? i think it kind of looks dull and low powered.. pretty boring... i just got some PIAA Xtreme White inside clear corners, also looking to get some 6000k bulbs for the headlights

what u guys think?

If I am not mistaken, you can use a 194/168 bulb in the clearance strip. Unless you install CCFL strips, a bulb (regardless of LED or not) will not fully light up the strip.

Forgot to mention, LEDs do not like heat so if you install LEDs in the clearance strip, the may go out on you in a few months. For some people, they never go out.

CCFL strips? so if i stick in a new bulb, like PIAA xtreme white, it wont fully light up in it and possibly burn out in a few months? (unless i get this ccfl?)

The PIAA will light up the strip more than the stock bulb but the top is still not going to be fully lit up. If the PIAA is LED, it MAY burn out after a while. LEDs hate heat and the headlights get hot. CCFL is the way to go if you want a nice HID white color that fully lights up the housing.

I had to swap out my 06's headlights with my 05's yesterday as I needed to send them out. I checked for you and a 194/168 LED bulb worked in the clearance strip. Like I said, it doesn't really light up the housing that much. I think you have clearance issues with the height of the bulb so you can't get a real big one.

^^^ there is only one bulb...it is located at the top. That is why there is poor light distribution.
