Is there a way to disable the amber turn signals in the headlight housing?

The amber lights that are always on when the lights are on completely ruin the lights for me. I wouldn't mind if they would flash when the turn signal is engaged, so is there a way to just keep them off instead of on all the time but still have them flash when I use my turn signals?

I am assuming you have an 03-05? There is a mod (DIY) that shows how to do it. It envolves taping up one of the 3 wires on the harness.

I know what you mean about the color throwing everything off. When I had my 05's I had: HID low beam, Yellow fog, Amber parking light, "Halogen White" clearence strip. That was 4 different colors all from the same headlight.

yeah there's a fuse it will disable all your parking lights. just cut the wire and add a crimp cap to the live end.

I think someone figured out this doesn't work, you can just break off the wires for the parking light on the bulb though, its as easy as that
