What color bulbs in your clear corner lights?
Clear sides........color?
Since I live in Ca. and don't want to give the "MAN" a reason to pull me over
I stayed with the amber bulbs sent with my clear sides. Why give them more
reason to pull me over, I already don't have a front license plate and tint?

It doesn't mandate anything about the light when it is not required. (It doesn't say anything about having them when not required) You can put clear lights in it, becuase your car doesn't require marker lights, so the side lights do not need to conform to requirements for marker lights, because you aren't using them as "marker lights".
You still however, have to obey the vehicle code that restricts what colors can be visible from the front of the car.

here's the texas law found in transportation code title 7:
§ 547.353. COLOR REQUIREMENTS. (a) A clearance lamp,
identification lamp, side marker lamp, or reflector mounted on the
front, on the side near the front, or in the center of the vehicle
must be or reflect amber.
