i know this is going off topic somewhat BUT

I was thinking of changing my amber LED's for red ones on the clock,
and i wanted to also change the lights on the AT shifter and the heated seat switches to red so that the red on the clock wouldn't look out of place..
i wanna do this on my 03 sedan
does anyone know what type of bulbs i need and where I could get them?
thanks to anyone for their help on this

I ordered these bulbs but when I went to install them into my 2005 G35 coupe. I found that they were LEDs on a circuit board. I really was hoping I could get rid of the orange leds but it looks like its near impossible.

i tried the grain of wheat bulbs and had alot of trouble stripping them witout breaking them off on the bulb end...very fragile. off to the dealer it is!

Buy the LED that with the base. It is alot cheaper than the dealer.

Certain models do not have the grain of wheat bulbs...

Do not buy from superlumination.com

I just bought 6 T4 Type B Japanese LED's Bulbs, and Neo Wedge 30% Brighter LED Bulbs for my clock bulb 03 g35 sedan. These are the same cheap LED bulbs that come from China. Many Chinese wholesalers or (dropshippers) have the same exact that are bought for 3 yuan chinese money which is approx $30 cents per BULB. The prices are considerably raised per unit/bulb which is robbery.

Pls keep in mind these Chinese Factory's have no quality control when these bulbs are produced.

Pls Consider buying bulbs that are significantly higher quality, and much safer at Autoillumination.com, superbrightleds.com, and ebay and get them for cheaper.

When sending e-mails to Tracy from superlumination to help out, she wasn't helpful and quickly canceled my order. Not only did she make accusations, she was extremely rude.

I fixed my lights yesterday. No problems!! Take some time to strip the new bulbs...I have meat hooks and was able to do it so there's no reason it can't be done if you're patient.

$30 from the stealership isn't worth it. Not that I can't afford it, but I did it myself because of the ethics of the whole thing. Really pissed me off that they would gouge over a little bulb.

By the way. I'm in Toronto and bought my bulbs at The Source. They are NexxTech #2721141. These are 12V.

They were a little big to fit in the plastic base completely but they still work. Not too bright but bright enough to read the clock at night.

bulb

i got my bulbs in today number 495 and they dont fit the socket they go into their too big.. Were yours?

hmmmm $16 would have gotten you two bulbs w/socket.....

hey guys for anyone reading this, im a noobie and did it easily.

just watch the video above it has everything you need to know. the only part it doesnt is taking out the panel which i found easiest with a screwdriver near the top of the panel (near the windshield) loosening that and then pulling straight out towards you (not up) until the whole thing pops up.

then the bulb you want is the "30% brighter than regular Neo - Wedge LED Instrument Panel Bulbs Type B" on http://autolumination.com/74.htm. you can choose any color you want including stock amber. when you take out the old bulb by unscrewing, you will see this fits perfectly in its place with no work.

hope this helps!
