Exactly what Calvin Said BMWs have this stock.. Also that video the lights dont look bad at all. Some Nice white LEDs in there I think would look clean.. I am not sure where or how you would wire it on a sedan though..

i JUST did this the other day. ordered some tiny leds and wired them to the alarm brain. i tapped into the wire that goes to the dome light so when i turn my alarm off my door handles light up.

oh and you might want to throw in a relay so that you dont fry your alarm. just as a precaution

Would like to see a DIY, as brief or simple as it may be including parts used and what not. Would love to do this.

i dont have a write up on how i did it but i can easily tell you how to do it.

its easiest if you have an aftermarket alarm. because then you can hook it straight up to the brain. you would need to look up the wiring diagram for your alarm and look at which wire coming off the harness is for the domelight. then from there you want to tap in a wire and run it to a 30/40 relay (just to protect the alarm itself) hook up the relay exactly how the dome light relay in the wiring diagram is hooked up. only instead of the dome light you would hook up the LEDs. then run the LEDs to each door or wherever you want to put them. i used these...http://www.oznium.com/prewired-surface-mount-led. they have a waterprood strip running up to the LED itself. and then there is double sided tape on the back of the LED. run the LED through the back of the handle and use the double sided tape to attach it to the inside of the handle like where your hand would grab to open the door. whenever you turn your alarm off the handles will light up. and then they will go off again when ever your dome light goes off.

it looks ok but not worth the hassle of removing the regulators and windows to get the handle out .

Did you get just one LED for each handle?
