For some reason, when I received the headlights one of the tabs (very bottom) on the left headlight was cracked. the plastic is all in tact, but just barely. the metal bracket that is behind it is also bent. as long as the metal bracket is there...does it matter that the plastic is also there to support?

should i return the headlight...or improvise. if i super glue/gorilla glue/cement the plastic back together and bend the metal bracket back, i think it can be useable, but will be it be strong enough? the metal bracket is still in good condition, just the plastic part needs to be glued together.

what would you do? return the headlights (bought them for $150 btw, complete headset)...or repair it yourself. i want to replace my 04 headlights ASAP! and i don't think ill find another pair of 06-07 headlights for such a steal.

as long as the other two tabs are ok you should be fine they should offer enough support and hold the headlight in place..but yeah that is a steal for 150

 

maybe sand it down a little, get some epoxy and bond it together. I fixed some lights on my 240 like that.
