I have some stock D2S bulbs lying around and am wondering if there is a way to test them to see if they work without actually having to put them on my headlights? I don't really feeling like pulling my bumper off.

 

I don't have a G, but on the Z, you can do so w/o taking off the bumper. You might have to take off the front wheels and move the wheel wall splash guard back, and you have access to the back of the headlights, and remove the low beam bulb harness...If memory serves me correctly, you should be able to do the exact same thing on the G.

 

if you have an extra ballast you can test them, but not without one
