The lights look really cool. But, they seem to be more for style than actually lighting up the engine bay in the dark. Am I correct?

they are kinda. i mean if your workin on your car late at night your prolly goin to a lot of light around so you can see what you are doin. but say if you happen to brake down some where at least there is a little light. i wish they were a little brighter but o well. i thougth bout gettin the white ones but they were only 1100mcd and these were 2600mcd so i thought they might be a bit brigther plus i have a blue grounding kit so they go with that as well. i would say they are prolly mainly for looks but atleast there is something there if something happened.

i just didnt have a conduit to put over them
i wanted to run the up through the the little holes in the hood but i didnt have any small and really bendable wire to use as a guide wire either. goin to work on that this week. hopefully ill be able to get them inside the hood and you wont see them at all.
