bump, i need some help before I fvcking have a psychotic break. how do i put the fog light back into the housing?

taking it out was a piece of cake, but now that stupid a$$ clip will not let me put the bulb all the way. plus, I'm doing

this blind because I can't see into the housing itself, all I did was raise the car and remove the wheel liner. HELP ASAP before it turns dark!

 

^^^ if all else fails, remove the light.

 

+1, this is why I always say its easier to swap bulbs by removing the headlights, which is a pretty simple process. Then there are no difficulties with swapping the bulbs, and less risk of contamination on the bulbs from trying to insert them blindly in the wheel well

 

^lol thats like saying, "if all else fails, amputate the leg." but okay, how do i maneuver the clip, thats all i need to know, because

it will NOT insert into its spot. that damn clip is annoying the hell outta of me, but its needed to hold the bulb in place.

do i move it out of the way first, what? pics?

 

Can you get it to close without the bulb in there?

 

Ok I got it FINALLY!!!!!! Thanks for the help 'lude but I think dumb luck helped me this time. It fits perfectly and it looks good.
