Break light on OEM spoiler broke down, need help to take it off

Hi guys,
so the break light on my OEM wing completely broke down, and fell off pretty much. This has been gradually happening since last summer but last week the second screw gave in as well and the whole light is now "hanging". I need to know how do I unhook it from the wing so I can take it off for now. Here is what I have:

Where is the little switch to unhook it? Is it in the wing somehow? How do I get to it? Please helppp, and please be as specific and as "non-technical" as possible since I'm a girl and I can barely check the tire pressure on my own

Here is how it broke down:

sucks to be me:

Ouch....looks horrible. In order for you to remove the spoiler, you'll need to remove the carpeted lining on the trunk. Here's the schematic for the spoiler:

If you're not confident in replace the led bar yourself, I would advise taking it to the dealer and having them do the work. This is a defect and even tho warranty's out, they may be able to do something for you. Worse case you remove the led bar and replace it with a cover.

if it is a defect shouldn't warranty cover it? My car is still under warranty I purchased the extended one for another 3 years so I'm all covered.

I will try to call them tomorrow, I just wanted to unhook the led bar so it is not hanging constantly and I can actually drive the car.

This is all pretty rediculous I can't believe that the car can just start falling apart like that, this all happened last week when I was away and no one drove the car for a whole week

Is that a factory OEM spoiler? I'm surprised that it would fall off by itself. It looks like somebody pryed it off.

It is the OEM one, and the first time I noticed the problem was probably about year and half ago when the first screw or rather the part that the screw was holding was begining to fall apart, but I thought it would still hold, and it did for quite sometime but eventually the other one broke as well.

So I just spoke with the dealership and they said that if it doesn't look like it has been hit by anything it should be covered under warranty so I made an appointment for this Saturday. Until then I will use my good old friend the scotch tape and tape the darn thing back on ... my car is going to be so ghetoooo but oh welll ... you gotta do what you gotta do

So what was the final verdict? Did the dealer replace it under warranty?
