displeased with superbrightled.com

I spent probably about $50-$60 on bulbs from them and I'm not very happy with the product at all.

I ordered LED bulbs to replace the parking lights in the headlight housings under the doors, the license plate, in my front clear corners and the interrior lights for mine and my girls G.

I order all mine wanting the hyper white as they claim to be but the headlight and LP LED's are blue and the interior lights are purple.

now one of the 5 way LED's I put in my headlights has two of the LED's that were flickering and then went out after about 4 days of being installed and I barely used my headlights.

I think I see why they are so much cheaper then frickenbrights.

can someone tell me which LED bulbs will be bright and really look white in my license plate, clear corners, headlight parking lights, and interrior lights.

Don't want to make the same mistake again.

I've bought many lights from them, they're cheap so I normally big quantities to replace once they go out. If you order white they shoudl come out rather white and depending on the bulb, might have a slight tint of blue. My inverted led bulb is slightly blue. Purple is a different story. Regarding light flickering, they have a warning on there that state that these LED do not like heat. The multi-led ones always start flickering if you put them anywhere near the headlight or even the liscense plate light will flicker as well. I personally think that is the nature of these LED regardless of where you get it. I have however find that the kind that is similiar to PIAA, where it's just one big led or those that has a "heat sink" works very well. I haven't had any flicker yet. I believe superbright might sell some of them in 169/192 style.

ah well maybe that's my bad for putting them close to the halogen fogs, which is where one was flickering before it died after 4-5 days but I still don't understand why the website says white and they are blue and purple.

mine look nothing like this at all. guess I'll go this route

if you search under my name, you will find tons of post where i answer the same questions...

I highly recommend V-LEDS if you want a long lasting, pure white led.

-License plate: High Power 194
-Trunk dome: High Power 194
-Dome: 31mm 9-LED festoon
-Under door: 31mm 9-LED festoon

for the last 2, you can also try the SMT bulbs, but I have no experience with those for that particular application.

As for the clear corners, you can use High Power 194. Once again, I have no experience with those for that particular application as I painted my clear corners.

I believe a 7443, but double check. I am running 06 lights. You could use the SMT model for those. Be aware that they will hyperflash when using a turn signal. You will need a load resistor.

I use Henry's LED bulbs. Satisfied. Just order from him and call it a day.

All plug and play bulbs use garbage chineese leds and all burn out .There are a few led bulbs that are decent but the price range goes up to $30-40+. All the LEDs we use are pure white name brand LEDs
