So if I buy 06 projectors off of ebay (housing and all) are they just plug and play with my 03 headlights?? I thought that it was a big process with baking and crap, but I found some posts saying its plug and play?

I'd love to change to projectors but don't want to go crazy with having to open or bake or anything.

 

It is plug and play, but be aware that almost all the headlights on ebay are recalled headlights that were STOLEN and are being sold for pure profit.

When u say (housing and all) is that including bulb and ballast??? because some of them selling with bulb and ballast, some with bulb only and some are just the housing.... so if i want to buy of the ebay which one should i get?

 

try to find them with atleast including bulbs you can always use your old ballast

 

the housing should come with the bulbs for the fog and turning lights. your 03, 04, or 05 high beems will fit into the projector just fine.

 

no they will not... they use different bulbs for the 06 lights

 

^ +1. the only bulb that can be used from the 03-05 housings is the clearance bulb, which becomes the city light in the 06 housings. The HID, fog, and turn signal bulbs are different.

 

So basically the main question is can I put the 06+ projectors with bulbs , ballasts, everything into my 03. Seems like the question is yes.

I'm not very technical when it comes to headlight mods, so literally am looking to make this Plug and Play and put the 06 Projector lights and all into my 03 coupe.

 

The answer would be yes. After you get all of the correct bulbs and if you use your ballasts or the new housings come with ballasts, the headlights will plug into the 03 harness.

 

Mine came with bulbs, so the ballast move was all that was necessary for the lights to work on my '03 coupe. Yes - Plug and Play with your current harness. However, Look for DIYs on this site on how to remove your front bumper cover. The bumper needs to be removed for installation.

SO how much is a reasonable price for a set of 06 headlight including everything if i want to get it of ebay??? cause i've seen some are sale for 300+ and some are for 600+
