I have an '07 coupe. Do the 3 lines/strips on the side of the headlights light up or are they just for looks? I think I seen a few pics with them lit on other cars but was that a retro or do they light up stock somehow?

that's just a design... earlier models 03-05 had a reflector in it that made it some what light up..

 

yea teh 03 to 05 models could light up...but they didnt look like the 06-07s. but there is a way to light it up or something...i know its somewhere on here...but dunno where

 

03-05 lights had a clearance strip which lights up. 06-07 lights have the clearance strip removed and have a design, that is it.

 

if you have seen 06-07 projectors, with the strip lit up then they most of installed CCFL lights in there. that's the only way that they'll be lit.
