2nd Ballast mount location?

Has anyone added a 2nd Ballast in their 06 coupe lights?... I am curious where you mounted the Ballast and if any modification was necessary. I was potentially going to put in a set of HID high-beams for the rare times that I travel unoccupied roads which are unlit. But I would imagine the logistics of a 2nd ballast would be far too complicated for the amount of use I would get from HID High Beams.

Thank you in advance for any and all help!

The 06 and up coupes come with bi-xenon headlights. This means that the low beam and high beam both come from the xenon light.

The other light is the fog light.

So both are HID or neither? ... if the 03 ballast fits the 06 lights, did the 03 have bi-xenon HID also?

No........The 03-05 came with Reflector HID low beam, and the bottom bulb was a H4, Fog/High beam.......so there was no HID High beam for those years.

I believe that he wants to have hid fogs.

Yah, just looking into the option...

I certainly don't want to blind traffic with my fogs, but I am curious about picking an HID low temp 2500K ~ 3000K for the times I am on unlit roads with overcast...
