No, it is vinyl. Which is way more durable.

 

yeah, I got some of that stuff for my 06' wrx tails and was the biggest pain in the *** to put on...Is it hard to put on the g35 tail lights?? I have an 05' coupe.

 

I think the sedan tails are about as difficult and it wasn't that bad. Just make sure you use a good hair dryer (maybe a heat gun, never tried a gun) to stretch the vinyl. Liberally spray soapy water onto your tail lights and take your time. You will likely have a few bubbles but they come out with time. You can use a needle to help speed up the time it takes for the bubbles to disappear.
