So i'm fairly new to the G *3 glorious months and counting * and i'm just browsin around for my next mod, and i saw the ACC halo Kit

the kelvin rating refers to the color of the halos, they get more blue as you go up

those are not lights for driving use, they are just for show. They are bright but not bright enough to light up the road. You will have to open up your headlights to install them and I am sure it won't be a simple plug and play.

As for the 4300k, 6000k, etc. that's the Kelvin rating. I'm assuming they will also change out your bulb as well. 4300K is the stock color and output. As you go up in value, the output of light onto the road will be dimmer.

4300K will give you a yellowish color (normal stock color)
6000K is a white color
8000K is a blue color
10000K is a purple color

What bump? You can do a projector retrofit, search some of IvoryGT's projects here, he does great work on the 03-05 headlights

The tails have the bumps, the headlights are just projectors without the clearance strip and without the amber lense...

You sound like the perfect candidate for a retrofit. PM IvoryGT, he does great work

You can send your headlights to IvoryGT and he will do all the work for you. Then you just plug them back in.
