the V-led guys told me to wait till the end of the month for the SMT ones coming out, but I'm not sure which ones they will look like lol

 

The one that I posted is actually a surface mount led. As you can see the led is mounted on the top surface of the bulb.

 

well this v-led guy kind of left me in suspense.. he didn't tell me what to look for, or how they would be any better than any other leds they sell.. I'm just hoping he will get back to me about that, maybe it will have more than one led and be really bright

are these good for clear corners? and does anyone know the number that will fit in our dome lights? and how hard are those to replace?

 

This top has been covered hella times but, the dome lights and the lights under the doors are 31MM festoon bulbs.

As for the 194's in the side markers, those SMT ones may be too big. When I used to have side markers, I used Hi-Power 194's.

 

i searched for like 20 minutes but couldn't find the numbers.. u know if they are hard to install the dome lights? do they just pop out and pop in? the covers i mean

 

so we need 194?

 

The dome lights took me like literally 30 seconds to do. The under door lights took me about a minute a door.

 

194 is for the sidemarkers, license plate lights, and clearance strips on 03-05 headlights.

As for the domes and under doors, 31MM festoon.

 

31 mm festoons for dome light, and side door lights as well~ don't touch the bulbs itself!!! and i used the 194 wedge bulb joker put up for my trunk and license plate lights~

 

do any # of led festoons fit in the dome and doors? for example, will a 4 led be the same size as a 6 led festoon if they are 31mm? and are SMT better than regular led lights?

 

# of leds shouldn't be a problem as long as the size of it is 31 mm. I have the 6 led festoons from vleds.com and 6 led blue festoons from superbrightleds.com for my doors~ all of them fits perfectly fine~
